Daily Routine
Children will enjoy a structured routine that allows for flexiblility. A routine helps the day flow more smoothly and lets children know what to expect from day to day. The following is only an example of a typical day, and may vary depending on moods of children and infants in care.
7:00 - 7:45 am Children arrive - Table Activities
7:45 - 8:00 am Clean up & wash hands
8:00 - 8:30 am Breakfast
8:30 - 9:00 am Free Play
8:45 - 9:00 am Potty/Diapers Changed
9:00 - 10:00 am Infants Morning Nap
9:00 - 9:30 am Circle Time (calandar, weather, stories, songs)
9:30 - 10:00 am Small Group Activities
10:00 - 10:30 am Large Group Activities
10:30 - 11:30 am Outside Play (weather permitting) Indoor Gross Motor Play
11:30 - 12:00 pm Prepare Lunch/ Table Toy Play, Educational video
12:00 - 12:30 pm Lunch
12:30 - 1:00 pm Clean up lunch/ Story Time
1:00 - 3:00 pm Nap/Quiet Time
3:00 - 3:15 pm Potty/Diapers Changed
3:15 - 3:30 pm P.M. Snack
3:30 - 4:30 pm Free Play/ Outside Play
4:30 - 5:00 pm Clean Up and Get Ready to Go Home
